Bilingual Quality Assurance Analyst

Our client is looking for a junior/intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst who can perform detailed functional testing and documentation in translated versions of our client's ingproduct. Primary testing will be done in French but you will also be responsible for Spanish, German, Dutch and other translated versions of the software.

Location:
Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

You are responsible for:
Designing, implementing and executing detailed test cases for our international translated builds of the product. This includes creating functional test plans, performing feature & regression testing, and detailed defect reporting. We expect you to be proactive about finding bugs early, following through and ensuring that they're fixed. Other duties include working with the automation team to ensure automation of any test plans you write, verifying defects reported by outside groups and actively participating in product/feature team meetings. If it relates to your feature, you own it.

The ideal candidate has mastered bug finding/writing and product assessment skills, has a demonstrated aptitude for acquiring deep product knowledge, has a track record of shipping great products, and is excited about working in a fast-paced software development cycle.

You possess:
Applicants must have the following skills and experience:
• University/College degree or diploma.
• Must be fluent in French and English, any experience with Spanish, German, or Dutch is a plus.
• Detail oriented, self-starter, strong problem solving skills and can work autonomously or as part of a functional team.
• Ability to effectively communicate, in writing and verbally with developers and outside groups in both English and French.
• Technology and web savvy.
• Working Knowledge of all recent Microsoft Operating System & Office releases.
